The Diocese of Greensburg seeks qualified applicants for a part-time Chef position. The Chef is responsible for handling all aspects related to the purchase, preparation, serving, and storage of food and beverages at multiple residences including, but not limited to, proper care of kitchen and dining room facilities and equipment. The Chef is also responsible, as directed, to assist with food preparation and serving at Christ Our Shepard Center.
This is a part-time non-exempt position. Daily work hours may vary but will consist, in general, of 25 hours per week. For special events/occasions, changes in the weekly work schedule may occur, with advance notice to the employee.
The position workdays and hours may vary seasonably with changes in workdays occurring during the period of November through April, based on staffing needs.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience in institutional cooking or equivalent practical experience and formal culinary education or equivalent experience.
