Our Mission
Christ Our Shepherd Center is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Greensburg to support and assist the diocese and Church in carrying out its mission of evangelization and teaching the Gospel of Christ.
As such, the Center is available to the diocese and its parishes, schools, religious orders, organizations and parishioners; as well as those of other Catholic dioceses. It provides facilities for functions that are integral to the life of the Church and its members, including programs for the formation of clergy, religious, staff and laity in matters of faith, work and Catholic Christian living; and for Catholic liturgies, retreats, conferences, seminars, banquets, fundraisers, social events and celebrations of sacraments received in parish churches.
The center is conveniently located on quiet, peaceful grounds in the center of the diocese just off Route 30 near Greensburg. Renovated facilities include attractive dining rooms with a variety of food service options, modern and fully equipped meeting rooms, a large and beautiful chapel, economical lodging, the Diocesan Heritage Center and a gymnasium. All are fully air-conditioned and have wireless internet access. Nearly all areas are under one roof and are accessible to those with disabilities. Numerous shopping, dining and entertainment places can be found within a five-mile radius.
