Area Attractions
The Christ Our Shepherd Center is conveniently located 38 miles east of Pittsburgh in the heart of the beautiful Laurel Highlands. It is an area filled with beautiful scenery and attractions, including Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Fallingwater, and numerous golf courses.
The downtown district of Greensburg and Seton Hill University are three miles west of the Christ Our Shepherd Center. The downtown district of Latrobe, Saint Vincent College, and the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, are within five miles east of the center.
Westmoreland Mall as well as numerous theaters, shopping centers and restaurants are located within a few miles on the Route 30 corridor.
Idlewild and Soak Zone— voted the number two best kid’s park in the nation– is 12 miles east of the center and the picturesque town of Ligonier is less than three miles beyond the amusement park.
Twin Lakes Park, a county-owned park, features boating, fishing as well as walking and biking trails. The park is two miles north of the center.
